This piece is inspired by a childhood memory, of a friend. Her description of roaming neighbourhood lanes on her bicycle, without a care in the world. Exploring what the streets had to offer, the smell of grass and fresh flowers.
Chasing Memories
Painted this almost two decades ago. The colours called out to me. The vibrant hues purple and lavender. The birds gently perched on the tree branch, looking into infinity.
